I wanted to answer a question that I get asked by every one of my clients - how long does it take for my rugs to get cleaned? Most people assume it’s a quick process and something that can be done in a few days or even in a few hours. That’s just not the case! For a thorough and proper rug cleaning, there are a lot more steps involved than just straight cleaning it. This is why rugs are usually with us for 2-3 weeks.
We always want to make sure that we give the BEST service to our clients and their area rugs, which is why our process looks like this:

Give each and every rug a thorough, 40-point inspection so we know the EXACT condition of every rug before we even start cleaning. During this step, we test for dye stability and check for any animal urine accidents using a UV light. This first step is vital for making sure that we know exactly how your rug needs to be cleaned and what it needs.

Once we get approval from our clients to move forward with the services they’ve chosen (we offer more than just cleaning), we thoroughly dust the rugs. Our dusting machine is designed specially to shake loose the dry soil that’s worked its way down to the base of the rug. We use this machine on the back of your rugs and then flip it over and vacuum the rug to remove as much dry soil as possible.

Every rug gets washed BY ITSELF with fresh cleaning solutions that are formulated for that specific rug to match its needs. This rug-specific cleaning ensures you don’t have to worry about cross-contamination from anyone else’s rug.

After your rug is cleaned, we extract as much water as possible and then quickly dry area rugs to ensure they’re dried PROPERLY. This step is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for providing the best results from cleaning. Drying quickly and aggressively helps prevent any problems with dye migration.

Once the rug is dry, we do a final post-cleaning inspection to make sure nothing else needs to be done before the rug returns to our client!

We can almost always work with you to get your rugs cleaned by the time you need them!
