RUG CLEANING – Some people (or animals) like to play in the mud, some people like to play in the suds! WE PREFER SUDS!

Hi everyone!  I’m Ruthie at Arizona Oriental Specialty Rug Care in Prescott AZ and today I am sharing a photo that illustrates how many of our client’s rug are cleaned. It actually is a very interesting process and I find that folks just love to see glimpses of our cleaning service. 

While time and space doesn’t allow for me to show all aspects of cleaning nor every cleaning method, this picture illustrates our wash pit where many rugs receive a full “bath” better known as "full immersion washing". This helps to ensure thorough flushing of foreign substance such as soil, food and beverage spills, mud and even animal urine!

Prior to this step rugs are dusted to remove as much dry soil as possible before the cleaning. Once the rug is shampooed there will be thorough rinsing and extracting followed by speed drying to ensure a proper dry. To finish our cleaning process rugs always receive a final inspection. Should anything require more attention to the rug, we will note it during the final inspection and never hesitate to add the extra T.L.C. the rug requires.   

As you can see, there is a lot to cleaning a rug properly and at Arizona Oriental we pride ourselves on offering our clients the best care possible!
