Highly Soiled Area Rug Gets a Much-Needed Rug Bath!

Hi folks, Ruthie here at Arizona Oriental & Specialty Rug Care in Prescott AZ once again!  Today I wanted to share this little video with you of an area rug that came into our shop HIGHLY SOILED!  Sometimes it’s hard for people to really imagine just how much soil and other “yuckies” are hiding out in their area rugs so that’s part of the reason I wanted to share this video with you all.

You can see that the water and suds coming out of the machine our technician is using is brownish/yellowish with soil.  Clearly, this rug hasn’t been cleaned in YEARS! Did you realize that all of this could be hidden in your rug? This video shows only one of the steps that come with our cleaning process - loosening up the soil and everything else that has been stuck down in that rug’s fibers for years.

There’s certainly a lot of work that goes into our cleaning process here at Arizona Oriental and this rug still needs to go through our rinsing and extracting procedures.  But the best part is seeing our client’s faces light up with a big smile when they see just how beautiful their nice, clean area rug really is!  That really makes all the hard work worth it.
