Keep in mind that if your dogs are cats are having urine/fecal accidents on your rugs, you will need to have your area rugs cleaned professionally more often.  You should ALWAYS have animal urine spots professionally removed as soon as possible. Doing so helps to avoid permanent damage to the fibers and foundation of your area rug.
