BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOS: What Can Be Done with an Old Braided Rug?
Ruthie with Arizona Oriental & Specialty Rug Care here in Prescott, AZ and I just have to say that handmade rugs (especially those passed down from generation to generation) have got to be some of my favorites! They have so much character to them and they really showcase an important part of your family. If they are well taken care of and well-made, they can last for generations!
However, one type of handmade rug can tend to show its age in unfortunate ways. Braided rugs can begin to unravel when the threads holding them together break over time. This is what happened to the braided rugs of one of our clients, as you can see below.
